Is it me or is this field off a bit from last year?

 

Before even reading your comment, I had the same thought while looking at the bracket..

Not many matchups that are going to get me to hop in the ol' hoopty and head south.

Caverna's in it because of Mason Faulkner (NKU commit).

 

John Hardin has Matt Miller (nice guard) and Mickey Pearson (young standout who can play on the perimeter, but goes inside in HS because of his size). JH also had Witherspoon (before issues).

 

However, neither team is considered in the the top two of the 5th Region -- that would be Taylor County and North Hardin.

All good. I think the tournament has a new name. I don't think it is the Republic Bank Classic anymore.
