Will this be a "lock em in" game? Always has been in the past. At least most years.

What does this mean?

Used to be "back in the day" that some of the frosh would practice and dress the last 5 weeks of the football season. As most first round games were going to be blowouts, the frosh would get a few series at the end of the game thus preventing them from transferring to another school without sitting out for a year. The current group of seniors were the last to do this I believe and they only saw one or two plays on each side of the ball.

The three wins came against teams that have a total of four wins, 1+0+3. Unless Highlands is looking ahead two weeks to a possible CovCath rematch the Birds should win this one as has become the tradition. (2008 Bryan Station aside.:scared:)

If you disect this even farther you find that 1 win team beat a 0-10 team and the 3 win team Woodford beat did it against teams with a combined 2-28 record. Birds lose this game I will mail my diploma back.

Didn't know they no longer do this. Do you think it's because of the size of the team?

So, any word on if this is going to be broadcasted in any way? Do the guys that do broadcast it usually just wake up at the field with microphones in their hands not knowing how they got there?

Here is the reply that I received when I asked. ??????????????????????????

Is it Brad Fennell and Jim Abner that usually do it? I might be able to ask Jim in some way through a friend that knows him well. I feel like it cannot be those two that are dragging their feet on this, they are both standup guys / die-hard fans.

Now that would be worth a listen.....

I really thought Jim used to do some of the broadcasts? Ha, is this way off?

I cant believe they don't implement some program where students broadcast games each week and they charge for it for the school. I'd pony up some bucks to be able to watch / listen to birds each week.

Here is the audio broadcast:

Looks like the Highland Avenue Gym is going to close down early today. Any chance they have a guest announcer tonight? You got your ears on?
