April 4, 201610 yr I think most UK fans knew the best backcourt was Ullis/Booker. But I also get not wanting to bench the backcourt that lead you to the finals the year before. I mean it's insane to think a freshman backcourt leads you to the finals and then the freshman backcourt who comes next is even better. Truth. Definitely insane to think the new freshman backcourt was better than the ones who led you to the finals the year before BUT that year before was an up and down year and they managed to figure things out in March. I find it hard to believe that Uli/Booker didn't outplay the Harrisons consistently. KAT averaging 21 minutes a game last season is inexcusable. I totally understand why Calipari says he will never platoon again. They'd have been 40-0 and one of the top 5 teams ever.

So I don't see how that would make them 40-0 if he averaged more earlier in the year. Booker was getting abused of defense by Decker that's why he only played 19 minutes. The one time they could of used Poythress really bad. I think that's the reason they didn't go 40-0. JMO. Maybe Ulis could have played more than 17 minutes, The Twins were 10-21 for 25 points 5 rebounds 4 assists. 1 turnover. It's not like they played a terrible game.

But I'd be surprised if he got one vote for ROY because he didn't do much the first half of the season. Towns should be a unanimous selection but I'm guessing someone on the east coast will vote Porzingos

That's what scary is they were that dominant and possibly could have been even better if Ullis And Booker switched the Harrison twins minutes. Even with how they did things last year the still dominated. I still think Kansas was the best team this year, but the best team usually doesn't win it. However this same very good Kansas team this year got absolutely destroyed by uk last year. Just goes to show how good that team was.
