This event will be run by Sheldon Clark High School (as always), but held at Lawrence County High School. All games will follow regulation rules.

How is Louisville Trinity allowed to play Wesley Christian being that WC is not part of the main state association and are members of the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association?

I think a better question is why is this game even being played? Surely they could have found a better opponent for both schools.

Wesley Christian has two teams just like Oak Hill Academy does. One is a regular high school team and the other is more of a Prep School type team with players from all over the world so I would imagine that would be the team that Trinity plays...that is if the game does get the okay, which I don't think it should.

I saw Mingo Central play Ballard last year in this tournament. It was an entertaining display of athleticism! Mingo Central?...didn't know what to expect until I saw the lay-up line. The Dixon cousins put on a show. I believe both are playing D1 bball now. Definitely worth the trip last year.

The younger one, Montrell Dixson, is a Senior who is now playing at Pike County Central. Your right though, very athletic.

SCRIMMAGE game has been approved by the KHSAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a much deeper note, what happened to Fast Lane? They still around? Not interested in sponsoring any longer.

Zip Zones are a trademark of Fast Lane, INC,,,,,essentially the same entity.

As said in previous years, this is a very, very well run day. Good teams and great hosts. I try to never miss it

Its the same thing. Turns out there is a chain of Fast Lane's out west and they sued the old Fast Lane for copy right infringement (settled out of court). The Fast Lane's in this area simply changed their name to avoid this in the future, hence Zip Zone Classic. Same people, same sponsor, just a different name.

Hope this answers your question.

at least he is today...might be somewhere in WKY by tomorrow.
