Tilghman seems to have righted the ship while Murray is looking to make a deep playoff run themselves. This should be a really good postseason pre-test for both teams. Who gets the victory?

Murray has the advantage in the trenches and is stronger overall on the defensive end and has the better running game.. Tilghman throws the ball better and has better WRs and has a little more depth and team speed.. Both QBs can run it well. IMO, just depends on which team controls the tempo.. Murray will want to establish long, time consuming drives and keep PTs offense off the field.. PT likes the uptempo game.. If PT gets ahead, I think it's a long night for Murray.. If Murray gets ahead and can stay within their game plan, I like them to win a close one.

Murray doesn't play Caldwell this year. Murray is 2A and Caldwell is 3A so they will not meet in the playoffs.

This one comes in a close second to the Mayfield@Caldwell game. Should be a good one. Both teams looking to make a run in playoffs. Have to give the edge to PT in this one.

Tiger, do you give PT the edge due to their skill guys? Doesn't PT have smaller lines? Wouldn't Murray be able to ground and pound? That's what they like to do right?

Yes, PT is smaller. Murray loves to control the clock, and pound you to death. However, you are also correct to go with the skill players for PT to give them an edge. The big thing that sticks out to me is the common opponents. Both played Mayfield and Graves. While Mayfield got by them both, Graves didn't fare as well against PT( PT won 49-29, Murray lost 39-14). PT is a lot more explosive. If both teams take care of the ball, PT should pull this one out.

I like Murray in this one after having watched each play Mayfield. Murray had several players out in their Graves Co debacle

PT made a major change to their defense a couple games ago, and although it has been against less than stellar district competition it has looked better. The offense continues to improve with the starting qb back, and a strong backfield led by Sr. Sayveon McEwen who has quietly amassed a impressive 14.5 ypc average.

The key to this game will be how PT's defense holds up to Murrays run game.
