By my count Conner had 3 on the game-winning drive at gave Cooper about 35 yards including one on 4th and long that resulted in a first down.

I went back to the game thread. Looked like the PI was on 1st down.

 

Now right before that there was a personal foul on Conner in their 2 pt attempt that the flag was picked up by the refs. Now that was a huge break for Conner because it would forced them to kickoff from the 20.

Again, Cooper wouldn't win 5A this year either. Especially with no TCA. Pulaski and BG are just too good which is why I laugh whenever I read what a huge mistake it was to move up to 6A. Stupid argument all the way around. HHS and CCH aren't going to win 5A either yet they go unchecked through this stupid debate.

 

CCH and HHS have both won state in the past while playing up so people realize that they will compete in 5A, just not this year. Cooper will not compete in 6A but they could have in 5A, at least this year.

That makes a bit more sense. I guess they got Dante for taunting/initiating it. Tough call on Dante though.

No that was either first or second down. There wasn't a fourth down on that last drive until the field goal attempt. The biggest play imo was after the holding call it was 2nd and 22 and Cooper may have been out of field goal range, but then they got a big run down to the 6. So even though Conner stopped them on third down, Cooper was back in field goal range because of that run in second and long.

I've yet to see an ounce of proof that Cooper would win 5A this year. Pulaski returned everyone that beat Cooper 36-6 last year or some score like that.

Well, when you are talking to a guy pretty loudly and walk right into his chest/shoulder, I dont know how you call it Conner...pretty good acting job as well....that is how it looked from my angle. I think the off setting was the correct call.

That could be. Offsetting was a good call of that was the case.
