First of all its squib not squid, and I know the calls come from the sideline and I have watched all Boyle's games this season the kick return team has been excellent. Smith has always used these type kicks but it's not because the coverage is bad it's to create turnovers.

 

Sorry for the miss spelling I was on my phone. Boyle normally has a good Kick game. And I have been to all of the game and have been on the Sideline for 22 years. I am just tell what was heard from a coach. Yes agree that Smith has always done this to create turnovers but and that is what has done this year too. But it is also because he has questions about the kicking game. Again this is what I have heard for the sideline. Again this is what I have heard on the sideline not my thoughts.

I am not on BGP on weekends, so this is my first time posting anything post LC/ BC game. WOW! The poll was 58-5 in favor of BC and I am 1 of those 5. Man eggs thrown right back at you all :lol2: I read the all thread post leading up to this game and I made several notes. To running clock, BC winning by 21 plus, BC winning by 35plus pts and "no exaggerating". LC will not score more than 14-17 pts cause BC has the best defense that LC has seem, BC's defensive back has work soooo hard because they know what LC brings in the passing game.. and so on and so on. Man we love jaw jackers.

Yes to create turnovers, he done it with Begley more than any other kicker because he was so good at placing the ball. Boyle used this against Collins this year and was up either 21-0 or 28-0 before Collins ever took an offensive snap it's been a great weapon but I think they used it to often against Catholic for what ever reason.

I agree Jack Lambert, Begely was the best at placing the ball. Probably the best Kicker to come out of Boyle.

One of the best to come out of Kentucky in the past twenty years period when it comes to all-around kicking. Outside of maybe Masthay and Petrey he would definitely be Top 5.

Understandable, but you were the one that mentioned that you don't see LC scoring more than 14-17 point just because BC defense is squared away. Hey let's all move on. Game over and time for the next opponent and ready for the playoffs and possible rematch.

I was right about the 14 to 17 points until the last 4 minutes and change left in the game, I hope we're fortunate enough to get a rematch.
