I guess the question at hand is can Boyle or Catholic's run defense slow Down Central's running game I believe if you check the stats you will find that Central is a run heavy team if you stop the run you stop Central. Also Central's secondary is not very good so I would like Boyle's defense to shut down Central's offense as a whole and Lex Cath to outscore them in a shoot out of course this is all just speculation if you know what I mean.

 

I see one of the two having a chance to do that... until proven otherwise I have a hard time seeing LexCath handling the physicality of Central up front. For this reason I also have a hard time seeing LexCath currently having a ton of success on Offense. Much like the Cooper game, it will be tough for them to establish a running game and their passing game will be harassed with pressure.

 

With all that said, I reserve judgement until I see Boyle vs. LexCath's outcome.

All valid points and I don't disagree with any of them. I do think the Boyle Lex Cath game will clear the water up a whole lot.

Looking into my crystal ball, Catholic loses to Boyle and then loses to Central.

No way Boyle Co. is better than St. X this season.

But Central is, so Central is a lock to go to Bowling Green and play Belfry or Bell or whomever?

The season starts now! It's time to put up or shut up! There is no excuses for Boyle to come out flat and not ready Friday against the Knights. The way I see it......If Boyle was to lose to Lex Cath at home than IMO they will not win state.
