October 9, 201510 yr The best snake is a dead snake. Sad when people think like this without understanding or education. Snakes are natures pest control. Have seen a black snake around my shed in the backyard this summer. No more mice around or in the shed.
October 9, 201510 yr He was on the news last night saying what actually took place is not what is being reported. From what I remember hearing him say last night it was something along the lines of: He said that he instructed the women in the store (who called police) to pour hot water on the snake. He said he had the snake off of him, moving away when he slipped on water and fell and hit his head. Said that when he lost consciousness (from the fall, not the snake) that the snake was slithering away from him. So both the officers just made up the entire story?
October 9, 201510 yr So both the officers just made up the entire story? No clue. Wife and I thought he was just saying it for business reasons. That's how he said it went though.
October 9, 201510 yr I think he may be trying to save face. The first step to cleaning a cage is to remove the animal. Had he have done that this would have all been avoided.
October 9, 201510 yr So both the officers just made up the entire story? And the 911 caller? Have you heard he call? The only one to have an agenda would be store owner.

October 9, 201510 yr I hate snakes but understand their place in nature. I never could understand why people would want to own a huge snake of any sort. A huge snake isn't going to fetch or learn to roll over. It's not going to lay in your lap and wag its tail while you pet it. It's going to eat whatever you throw in it's cage and scare the hell out of everyone. Call me crazy, I never want to own a pet that could squeeze me to death anytime I touch it.
October 9, 201510 yr Call me crazy, I never want to own a pet that could squeeze me to death anytime I touch it. Except for a bear. I want a bear. A big one that I can put a saddle on and let my dog ride around the neighborhood on. That's the ultimate pet. :lol2: And yes, I've clearly thought about this way too much.

October 9, 201510 yr I've always said I want a bear. I hope to see one and take it home whenever I'm in Gatlinburg. Items you'll need: - A truck with a large bed. - A large cage or "kennel". - Raw meat. - 3 or 4 large high voltage tasers. - One large tranquilizer. Probably need some masks as well, because it's probably illegal in Gatlinburg. :lol2:
