Yeagle to Dayton as a health and PE teacher

Featured Replies

I would think Coach Lickert would be tremendously excited to have him on his staff. What an asset it would be for Lickert and the Dayton program. Maybe I'll see Yeagle at the Dayton football golf outing!!!!!!!

Ha, ha! I would think that you would have a better chance of seeing Tom Cruise at the Dayton Golf Outing. That isn't Coach Y's cup of tea!

This is what I know:

1. He interviewed on 05/24/2006 for a PE teaching job.

2. There were a few really good candidates besides him.

3. Football was spoken about (as an assistant) but it wasn't a formal conversation.

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but what happened with the Ryle thing?

 I don't know why he would even consider coaching at Dayton. There aren't enough athletes to compete with NCC and Beechwood. Probably the worst facilities around also. He would be nuts to be an assistant at Dayton.

He is going to Dayton as a PE/Health teacher and may coach Baseball. He is not going to coach Football.
