Marco Rubio addresses the Black Lives Matter movement

Featured Replies

There are a lot of things about Rubio I don't care for, but if there was a Republican that could probably convince me to vote for him next year, it's probably him. This is just one of several reasons why.

I'll be honest. When I saw the link I wasn't expecting the link to be like it was. Then when I saw he made the comments in August I see why it went under the radar for so long. Can't have anyone supporting the BLM.

Mike Brown is a POOR example for BLM to use in my opinion.

No argument from me on Mike Brown. I do believe the message of BLM should be heard if people can get away from the propaganda with the intent of discrediting the movement.

I'll give cred where it is due in my eyes. I agree with him on this issue, well it is factual and those that don't see the facts are also the problem.

Absolutely it is.

Messaging matters. It's too easy for many to write off the issue as not real if you use a case like Mike Brown. There are plenty of legit cases that help further the cause. Use them.

Agreed.............I only mentioned it because he was mentioned in the link.

Good read. I like Rubio a lot. I think he would make a very good next president. I don't agree with him on everything but he would be a major upgrade to what we have now.

If I only voted for candidates I agreed with on everything, I would never vote for anyone. Marco Rubio is an excellent candidate. He has many attributes that should make him hard to beat.

I like Rubio pretty much every time I hear him speak, including here. In this case he was honest but wasn't pandering just for support or votes, IMO.

Make no mistake he is pandering for votes.

Make no mistake he is pandering for votes.

He is probably the first politician ever to do that. I just think he is one of the best at doing that. And I believe he is one of the most honest politicians, which I realize could be an oxymoron.

True they all are, but don't you think he sounds more honest about what he's saying than what some others have said on this same subject.
