1A Raceland (4-2) travels to 3A Lawrence Co. (4-1) this week. One thing that is a constant in this long standing game between the two tradition rich programs is that it will be one of the most hard hitting, physical games of the season.

What are everyone's thoughts on this one ?

I'll take Raceland in this game. Think Lawerence will cause some problems with their speed and balance on offense though. 21-20

Lawrence usually has as many atheletes and more times than not, better atheletes than Raceland. The Bulldogs usually have more size upfront than the Rams. Lawrence County is a tough road game for anyone. With that said, all of these things were facts last year, we still controlled the LOS, and dominated the game. Im taking Raceland. I think LC will bust loose on a big play or two for scores. I think this one goes about like the Portsmouth West game. This will be a good ball game for 2 or 3 quarters.

My fav team Law-County battles a team I have become a big fan of in the last few years. A certain kicker from Raceland, who went to Ohio State and last played for the Cleveland Gladiators (AFL) Is a big reason for this.

 

As much as I want Law-County to win, I do not see it happening.

I am thinking Raceland is a little too well rounded for the Dawgs, but a closer game than some expect

Raceland's defense has been the constant all season. Offense has been showing signs lately of all coming together and being more consistent. Lawrence Co. is as usual.....Physical, talented and well coached and like Raceland is a very tough out, especially at Home.

Lawrence should probably be the favorite at home but this Raceland team is improving while going thru this very tough and testing schedule and imo that will show when playing a good Bulldog squad.

Another Week, another tough test for Raceland. Considering and comparing school size, Raceland plays as tough or better schedule than anyone in our area.

As I said and this backs it up. Both teams are extremely hard to beat at home. As for your question .... Yes, I predicted the Rams and I am sticking with it.
