Raceland wins one that was filled with mistakes / turnovers from both teams. Penalty Flags flew all night. I am glad to get this one over ... finally !

On a big note for the Rams .... K. Snyder, as best as I can tell had around 180 yds Rushing with 3 tds.

P. West was keying hard on Davidson and Christian it seemed.

I do want to commend the Ports. West team, they played hard and never quit, even aftter going down 3 td's late. The Senators fans stuck in, stayed with their team until the final horn.

RAMS .. Another good homecoming night win, enjoy this one tonight. Start getting your mind set on a good Lawrence team coming up next week.

As Always ,,, it's a great day to be a Ram. :thumb:

3 or 4 turnovers and still manage 41 pts, speaks volumes as to what our offense is doing/is capable of. Weather had alot to do with turnovers for both teams, imo. And FINALLY, you saw what Kyle Jamison is capable of given the chance. I think we need to utilize that quick passing package (the one we used towards halftime), more often.

I believe that its getting more and more obvious by the week just how good this NEKY 1A District really is :scared:. Especially after we see what the school in Westwood did to a Ranked 2A Team - Lex. Christian this week along with 1A #1 . Paintsville blowing out Bourbon Co.

I don't think that our Rams are a bad football team at all and right now anyway, I would rank this district as 1. Paintsville , 2. Fairview 3. Raceland.

I think you are underrating Raceland. I put Raceland over Fairview. I also think Raceland is pretty close to Paintsville. I believe you have both Lexington Christian and Bourbon County ranked too high in your eyes. Lexington Christian lost to a winless team last week. Bourbon County had the highlight of their season when they surprised Southwestern in the first game of the year and have gone 1-3 since then with their only win a 1 TD squeaker over winless George Rogers Clark.

Looks like my predictions and score were almost spot on!

Im not sold that Pikeville and Paintsville are wny better than the Rams. Looking at Paintsvilles schedule, if the teams they have beaten were as good as they would supposedly going to be it would be easier to crown them the heavy favorite, that has not been the case.

I agree that Paintsville and Raceland are better overall than Fairview BUT I have watched Raceland 4 times this year and Fairview 2. I have not watched Paintsville so I won't speak on them. Fairview is a matchup nightmare for the Rams. They don't have anyone that can run with Washington. Romine and McIntyre are long and athletic. Roy is the best QB in the area period! Including Kash who is a D1 LB not QB. The Rams definitely can win both of those games but anyone who thinks they can sleep on Fairview is horribly wrong.

IMO and I've watched both teams more than once, Raceland will be able to pound the ball on Fairview as much as they want. Roy is good but Washington is the best player on the team. Roy's passing stats are a bit inflated I would like to see how many of those yards are from screen plays. I know they're still a pass play technically but it's essentially just a run play.

Roy got any offers though? He's got the size and arm, can run some.

Raceland can score quickly, which suprised me. with under 2 mins in the first half, the score was 14-13 in the favor of PW. The half time score was 28-14 and we were in position to do so again when time ran out. Paintsville can do the same thing and imo, both teams will keep Fairviews offense of the foeld just grinding them out. But idk if anyone wants to get in a shoot out with Fairview. I do however believe that both the Rams and Tigers will beat the Eagles handedly.

Out two minute offense looked great. We need to run and gun with some short passes more often, it really softened the defense.
