I'm not sure about offers and I know that he gets a lot of yards on screens but he throws a beautiful deep ball also. Like I said I believe that Paintsville and Raceland are better teams. However I don't think that either team will run away with it because Fairview will score and honestly Raceland has no one to run with Washington. They will have to keep the Fairview offense off the field. Hopefully they will be able to get pressure on Roy if not then Fairview can beat both of those teams.

Just for the record I am not a Fairview homer. I used to coach there and I am very familiar with those kids. I now coach MS at Raceland and I hope the varsity boys win every game. Just giving my personal opinion from what I have seen.

We wont see another athelete like Baker or the WR and QB for Lucasville. Tbh, Greenup, Portsmouth West, and West Carter had more speed than we did at the skill positions and we still controlled the LOS and won those games.

I think you are underrating Raceland. I put Raceland over Fairview. I also think Raceland is pretty close to Paintsville. I believe you have both Lexington Christian and Bourbon County ranked too high in your eyes. Lexington Christian lost to a winless team last week. Bourbon County had the highlight of their season when they surprised Southwestern in the first game of the year and have gone 1-3 since then with their only win a 1 TD squeaker over winless George Rogers Clark.

I guess I was basing that opinion on how I know that this Raceland team hasn't came together and played like we know they can and/or are capable of. I was speaking for "right now" and you are probably right on Bourbon and LCA. I haven't kept a close watch on either.

At any rate, I do tend to be too hard on my Raceland Rams, that's mostly due to I know what they are capable of.

Raceland can score quickly, which suprised me. with under 2 mins in the first half, the score was 14-13 in the favor of PW. The half time score was 28-14 and we were in position to do so again when time ran out. Paintsville can do the same thing and imo, both teams will keep Fairviews offense of the foeld just grinding them out. But idk if anyone wants to get in a shoot out with Fairview. I do however believe that both the Rams and Tigers will beat the Eagles handedly.

That flurry at the end of the half was the difference. PW had just scored and it looked like they would go in at half with all the momentum. When the Rams finished the 2nd qtr with 2 td's in under 2 minutes, it was basically Game Over.

Yes he can ! I do hope the kid, if he wants to, will get a chance to play at the next level somewhere.

 

Also, as for that "unimportant" game at Raceland in three weeks - I will just use the old Al Davis (nfl/Raiders owner) line ....."The opposing QB must go down and he must go down hard". That's in three weeks though.
