Final

Congrats to Coach B!

Mercer County had a 21-0 lead at the half. The tough schedule to start the season paid off finally as they easily had their best game to date on both sides of the ball.

Malik Dow started the scoring off on a 51 yard pass from Drew Davis.

I believe Grayson Blevins had a 40 yard run for a TD.

I think Dee Smith scored 2 TDs for Mercer and I believe Dustin Baker scored 2 TDs for Mercer also.

Dustin Baker had the highlight run for the night as he lined up at QB with the score 34-0 and he took the snap to the house breaking tackles and shedding defenders left and right all of the way to the end zone. It was good to see.

Mercer County played good, inspired football and showed the progress they have been making each game.

After the game Coach B told the team that the only record that matters is 1-0. Their district record.

This team is on their way. Great game Titans!!!!

Grayson Blevins had 18 total tackles and Tyus Short had 13.

Awesome job Mercer County! Way to finish the game.

Wouldn't read too much into this win, sad to say Marion may be worse than West Jessamine and that ain't good.

The only thing Mercer County is reading into this win is being 1-0 in district. Their goal has been to win district from day one. Yesterday was a step in the right direction to accomplish that goal. A goal I think they will accomplish.

Congrats Coach. You've kept the kids focused through a tough start. Good luck the rest of the way.

Great win for the Titans and Coach B. Know madder who you play it was a good win. Should help the titans with a little moral boost.
