September 19, 201511 yr Irish mostly dominate the Yellow Jackets, but have to fend off a rally by GT in the final minutes. ND defense looked outstanding against the option.
September 19, 201511 yr Aside from the last minute...I thought it was the most impressive showing by the Irish since 2012 @ Oklahoma. Really impressed by the defense.
September 20, 201511 yr Wow. I changed it after the last ND score. This was a hard one for me. ND lifer & GT/Paul Johnson run an offense I love the most. Keep it rolling Irish & I hope this is the last loss for GT.
September 20, 201511 yr We all need to enjoy Jaylon Smith this year , if he isn't the best linebacker in the country can't be more than a couple better. He is gone after his Junior year this year. He does every thing. He was deflected passes 20 yards down the field and getting tackles behind the line of scrimmage. He literally covers the whole field.

Same probably goes for Will Fuller too. If he continues to perform at a high level, he could play his way into the 1st round of the draft. Right now, I don't see him coming back either.
September 20, 201511 yr Good job by Notre Dame. Good thing they have UMass next week instead of a well better team because their defense could struggle after a week straight of defending the option. Looking at their schedule they have in 3 weeks and right after them USC so that game could be interesting!
September 20, 201511 yr Losing #23 is huge. He was turning into John Lynch. Sure, tough tackler, covers well, and an emotional spark. He is going to be tough to replace. Blowing it out on a jumping high five...that is crazy.
September 20, 201511 yr After they lost their starting QB, I along with many felt this was gonna be a Tech win, but N-Dame found not only a way to win, but found out a lot about themselves. Have to give them props and say NICE WIN.
September 20, 201511 yr Georgia Tech was the fashionable pick this weekend. One said they could be "final 4" material.
