There was a comparison made about fern creek being comparable to Pulaski county, don't forget that Pulaski county had a tight game with graves co last year, a team that mayfield handled a lot better.

I watched the highlights of this game, VERY impressed with both teams.

All I can say is #5 for FC is a stud. You have to account for him on every play on both sides of the ball.

I think he is committed to WKU. Glad the Hilltoppers got another very good player!

Many disagree with me but as I said in other posts. I know this team like the back of my hand and was highly disappointed with what I wached last night. It was like they were a completely different team than what we have watched. It definetly reminded me of the CAL game last year. As for me saying no motivation no effort, please tell me where you saw this? Side line was dead all night, no one was excited on the field, even the fans were dead. It was like the whole community was in a haze. The only player i myself heard have any heart was an injured Austin johnson. Love my colts and believe we'll be fine but as of right now we aren't and this team needs to find themselves.

I appreciate your opinion, but I feel like it is more frustration than anything else. How about when Sims ran FC's running back down from the opposite side of the field, causing him to cut back, where he was then pounced on by a 6'7", 270 pound DL who chased him 50 yards down the field? How about Brothers, who left the game temporarily with cramps in BOTH legs, but came back and chased down Kidwell from behind after the long pass in the 4th quarter when the game's outcome was really no longer in doubt. Even Coach Davis praised the team for not giving up. Again, I appreciate your opinion but I disagree 100%.

As I appreciate yours. Me saying there was no effort is not a shot or slight at any players. It just felt like the collective group really did not care for most of the game. Even the fans seemed disinterested. I love these boys and I love this team. Like you said it is very frustrating when I know how different the outcome of this game should have been.

Agree with your disagreement and applaud your use of specific examples of high effort plays. Upon further review, however, your defensive lineman is a more svelte 6'7" and 231 pounds.:lol2:

Man, there is some frustration here, I can't fathom what these fellows will be like after the MF loss:laugh:

LOL!!! Didn't have it in front of me. I knew the 6'7" part. He sure looks like he would weigh more than 231! He's a basketball player, so I'm sure that coach wouldn't want him at 270. Either way, a big ol' lineman chased a running back down the field and caught him when he cut back to the middle of the field.

We won't get to you guys if we play like that against CAL.
