SportsGuy41017
For the second week in a row, a San Antonio-area high school is dealing with a player who hit an official in the middle of the game. This time it’s St. Anthony High School, whose game Saturday against Austin Hyde Park was interrupted by a fight and, then, Zeke Cardenas responding to a penalty flag by shoving the official. This is, obviously, a far cry from last week’s premeditated targeting incident. But with international attention given to players’ conduct toward officials—especially in San Antonio!—it’s still shocking to see happen.
