Biggest news from this game is the Brumbaugh injury.

 

Jaylen Jones had 26 carries for 156 yards and 1 TD. He also had a Rec TD.

No I am not making any statements about Ryle in my observations tonight.

I am proud of how the team was able to win with Brumbaugh getting knocked out during the 1st drive. I have no specifics on the injury but if it's serious Knights are in trouble.

Just heard Coach Perry say that on the post game show. Tough for him. If he can make it back for the playoffs though that is all that matters.

 

Not to take anything away from Fagot, he's a gamer, but Brumbaugh makes the offense a lot more dangerous.

 

This was not the same CovCath team that I saw on film vs Ryle.

Defensive fundamentals have been a concern all season.

 

Still CovCath was a 2pt conversion away from stealing one. Team just has to ignore the naysayers and continue to get better.

I've never been more disappointed after a victory than tonight. Without Brumbaugh, Lexington Catholic is a very average football team. With the games they have coming up, they won't stand a chance. Defense was on the field a lot tonight and held up better than I expected. I guess that's the bright spot, but it's not much consolation tonight.
