Stats?? Who cares about stats?? The only stat that matters 45-16

What stats shows is, X is not that much better than BG if not for a few mistake, and if they play again maybe would be a different story, maybe that's why they are #1 . Also, stats show that Pulaski's defense couldn't stop a grade school team. Also, stats show the score was 45-19.

Plz explain how Graves County is not in the top 10?? Geez!!

Who would you take out to make room for them?

The problem I see with most polls including this one is that they are giving the same weight to peoples pre-season opinion as they are to actual results on the field. "I know St X is good, but that wasn't the tone on here after the Simon Kenton scrimmage" -Purple88. What people think their "tone" is has zero effect on whether a team is actually good or not.

Based ONLY on whats happened on the field.

1. Owensboro

2. Pulaski

3. Bowling Green

4. Fern Creek

5. Highlands

The Associated Press has Graves County ranked 11th in 5a..me personally I would have Graves in the #8 spot..

Oh, I know what they are, I just don't give them any credit for accuracy.

Here's my view on how the rankings should look at the current moment in the season:

1) Owensboro

2)Highlands

3)Bowling Green

4)Pulaski County

5)Christian County

6)Anderson County

7)South Western

8) Graves County

9)North Laurel

10) Covington

I can understand the argument for Owensboro but why is Highlands above BG and Pulaski?

Bowling Green out gained X on the stats, if it wasn't for the the turnovers and special teams blunders it may have been a lot closer. Also, Pulaski Co gave up almost 600 yds of offense to Scott Co.

Watched the game and there's no way BG had more yards! Maybe if you count Kick Return and penalties.... Lol! Saint X did what they wanted when they wanted... Once Saint X put their 2nd or 3rd string in BG picked up yardage but those are garbage stats... They are deceptive. That being said, I don't think BG is as bad as they played, and they have one of the best coaching staffs in the State that will make necessary adjustments prior to the Owensboro game. I would put Pulaski at the #1 spot and BG at a very close #2 . All in all 5A is way down. With Highlands being down, BG being down, and Pulaski not living up to their potential, 5A has not lived up to its preseason hype. By the time playoffs roll around, I would have to give BG the nod due to their Coaching.

Idk if I would say they have Scott co a game?? They lost by almost 30 or something. An if it wasn't for some poor plays on defense. Would have been a lot worse ! Just sayin

But pulaski is a lot better than highlands. Scott co had highlands 40-0 in the first or second qt. Riley hall an that johnson kid are the real deal. I loved watching that ! Those two have something special.
