BTW, True story- that one came from coach Ross's daughter who was a cheerleader at the time. :lol2: Our Cheerleaders know football (or at least her, coach Ross told me when she got married "I just lost the best scout I ever had", LOL.

Heard them all from the "Rowdy Rail Riders". We got more abuse from our fans then we did from the opposition's. We would be up 30 and getting yelled at by our fans for not playing hard enough. We never thought we were good enough, and looking back, we were good, but not good enough.

Another one I just thought of was one of my favorites from Coach Hoof, post fumble. "(Insert name here), IF YOUR HURT, I'LL FLY IN THE BEST AND GREATEST DOCTORS IN THE COUNTRY, if u aint, quit your limpin and gimpin and hold on to the CONFOUND IT FOOTBALL...DIP BOYS". Randy Vanderhoof not only has a way with words (some of which i am certain are not found in Webster's Dictionary), but his emphasis on those said words is legendary. That man is Raceland High School personified, no ifs, ands, buts, or dips about it! glad he is back involved in the football program.

Coach Ross used to fall to his knees on the sideline, put both arms up the air and yell to the Football Gods to help us. I just stood on the field and looked at him, thinking he was praying to God for better football players.

Coach Salmons has some sayings, too. I just don't think we can post them on BGP's. LOL

I'm torn on this one still. I have always had a crush on the Rams, but for some reason I find myself flirting with the Greenup defense right now. I've saw Raceland in person, and Greenup online.

 

I'm gonna go with my new fling in Greenup. If they can go up on Raceland early it'll be their game.
