How have these 2 teams done against each other over the years from JFL and middle school?

 

It's always a big JFL rivalry because they play each other 3 to 5 times per year. Idk how the other classes did but our Junior team had some epic games against Greenup in the 6th grade, one going into 6 OT'S before ending. Raceland's Junior class was undefeated in their 6th grade, 7th, grade, and 8th grade years until being beaten by Butler Co. in the 8th Grade State Championship Game. Greenup Co. came closer to beating them than almost anybody. It was always a close game when the Rams and Musketeers played each other. The bulk of our starters are from the Junior class, think we'll lose 21 or so when they graduate.

We've had 2 common opponents so far this year. Raceland won big over Lewis Co. in the Grid-o-Rama, Greenup blanked Lewis 35-0 in their opener.

Greenup lost by at least 1TD, think it was 22-14 to West Carter in the Gid-o-Rama, Raceland beat West Carter 35-26 in our opener.

Greenups defense is giving up 9 ppg. They wont hold raceland to that but not sure what youve seen to make you think they can score 35.

So GC is Senior laden and Raceland is Junior laden.

I watched West Carter put up 21 un answered points on them. It's not going to be a blow out. It wont be a 35-0 halftime score with Greenup scoring late. Greenup put up 13 points on Russell's defense that held Ironton to 14 points. Raceland's passing game is opening up, which opens things up for the running game as well. I figure it will be a close game for a half, then Raceland slowly starts to pull away late in the 3rd quarter. I really think Raceland will continue to progress within their offense in this game.

I hope your wrong. After this week they can really gel and win out the rest of the year. Musketeers program needs this win. I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in the west scrimmage. 1 bc its a scrimmage and there is little game planning that goes on. Plus Hunt and a few others didnt play.

GC is very improved and coach Mullins has built some confidence in his kids, and that is what GC has been missing since 2010. GC last beat Raceland in 2010 and it has been lopsided since then in the Rams' favor. I think the Rams will be focused, but I think GC will be just as focused.

I think the Rams will come out slow and shocked by GC. But in the second half I think the Rams come out mad and a little ticked off. The conditioning by the Rams will help them have a great fourth quarter and go off offensively:

Watched this Raceland team vs. Ashland and they aren't physical, don't play as hard as I have seen past Raceland teams. Raceland teams that I am used to watching and competing against would get you down and wouldn't let you up for air. This team doesn't play hard at all.

Ive watched alot of football and have seen both teams play more than once. If raceland over looks this greenup team they are in for a long night. I will say they are more even playing teams than most people think. It all will come down to turn overs. Who will turn the ball over the most. Who wins this game is hard one for me to pick. It will be a fun one to watch...

Ashland gave you 7 on the INT deep in Ashland's end. Then you scored on Ashland's freshmen with the score 41-14. Greenup is the better team this year.

Just wishful thinking, we're starting to click. Unless they have a Q Baker on their team, they're not the favorites. Believe me, our players will be up for this game. NO OVERLOOKING ON THIS ONE.

I am going to go with the Rams but this one could go the other way should the Rams come out not focused. This GC team is good, most of all for the first time in quite a while the Musketeers believe and are confident.

Raceland needs to come out more physical, punch GC in the mouth and keep hitting. Unlike in previous years, GC will punch back this time and the Rams need t be ready for a 4 qtr. game and take NOT ONE Play Off .
