Boy, I tell ya I think their are a lot of insensitive people on hear. Boone county players and coaches deserve all the respect in the world before, during and after the ames are played...as do all these young men and coaches who put in the hard work that they do! That being said.. I'm sure that Ryle's coaches have told their players to be ready for a battle. ( Never poke a sleeping bear) Over the course of a game the more talented team usually rises to the surface, but they must execute 1st then celebrate 2nd. Always respect your opponents! Most programs at the high school level have experienced down cycles. You dont want to be the team that helps them turn around a season or program!

I'm so glad these Boone boys keep working at it. To watch their whole student section walk over to cheer them out of their locker room at half time during the first week game against Lex Cath shows a lot of class and pride. Especially after feeling great after the scrimmage the week before. Keep your heads up and work hard Boone boys. You actually do have a lot of people rooting for you. Hoping for a good game. Good luck Ryle boys too.

Calling this game "almost a bye week" for Ryle or saying "game will be over 4 mins in" is pretty classless and disrespectful to Boone. Boone isn't going to hand the game to Ryle. They aren't going to lay down for the Raiders. Expect a dog fight. It's a rivalry game.

 

(LOL) this isn't the NFL, or even college for that matter ( rivalry game). Ryle has to many weapons against a rather light Boone County team, this one will be over before half! Ryle is loaded, and Boone isn't, it's as simple as that. 56-7, Final.

Boone has a number of good players, great athletes and great kids from great families. They just haven't put it all together yet. Maybe they will have by the time they play you guys. In fact I'll be rooting for them after today!

Yea, but we need to secure the win early. Never count out an under dog. 3-0 record would be the best start since 1998, 17 years. Great start to the year. Team is coming together and gel, and learning to adjust. 2nd half adjustments on defense last week went a long way to winning the game.
