Lets be real here, Murray will come to Mayfield ready to rumble but they better bring their A+ game and hope we bring a B game for them to have a chance.

 

 

Murray has beaten Mayfield 3 times since the early 60's....I'm not expecting this to be number 4 this year.

I have seen Card fans take pot shots at DeSales and act as if Murray has no chance but the last time they played I seem to remember Cardinal fans sweating bullets.

Murray played Mayfield tough last season, they play ball control with weird looking wing t. They led alot of the game simply because we couldn't get the ball and that's to their credit. They can't throw the ball very well so if they get behind it's not to their benefit. Murray has a good team , that's a fact , but they are not as good as Mayfield. We are getting way ahead of ourselves at this point in the season....but I'll play the game.

Correct answer is C but I expect to beat them. As for last year and the year before, they played us very tough. I think it was 2 years ago or maybe 3 that they held a 19 point lead at the half. Neither year did I myself panic. Why? we were down but you just got the sense that we would stop shooting ourselves in the foot and win it and we did. I guess the reason we have a hard time not expecting it to happen is because it happens so rarely. Mayfield has only lost to Murray 4 times in the last 50 years

 

That said, they are certainly capable and might well do it so we will go with C.

I think the word "IF" should be emphasized in the thread title. I can totally see Murray losing one of the next two. This week would be an upset if they lost, next week maybe not so much.

Murray will not beat mayfield,

I think the murray vs. Graves game will be a close game but I do not see murray hanging with hopkinsville, and in no way will murray beat mayfield..murray likes to control the clock with their offense..and with the defense mayfield has I just don't see that happening..
