March 21, 201610 yr When did they reissue it? Fairly recently...within the last 6 months or so. You shouldn't have too much trouble tracking down a copy.

March 24, 201610 yr Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream (Had to settle for the reissue...I wasn't willing to shell out $100+ for an original pressing.) I'd love to give that album a proper listen on a turntable with some nice speakers. Sonically awesome.

April 18, 201610 yr I was up in NKY for the weekend. Swung up to Shake It for Record Store Day. I was hoping they might have a copy of Jay Farrar's RSD release of his 2001 album "Sebastopol", but apparently they only got in 1 copy of it, and it sold within 10 minutes of the store opening. I did pick up a RSD release by a band whose name doesn't fly with the word violation filter, as well as the new Frightened Rabbit album that came out within the last couple-few weeks. Haven't given the FR album a listen yet, but I'll have it on the turntable first thing when I get home this evening.
April 26, 201610 yr Frightened Rabbit - Painting Of A Panic Attack ...kind of underwhelmed by this one. Still looking forward to seeing them at Headliners on May 3rd though.
April 26, 201610 yr Ben Harper - Call It What It Is REALLY underwhelmed by this one. I used to be a serious, SERIOUS Ben Harper fan. I dug the hell out of everything he did up through the album he did with the Blind Boys of Alabama, and then the following two albums were a little "mehh". Then he changed things up with the Relentless 7 backing band, and I wasn't really on board at all. His 2013 blues album with Charlie Musslewhite was SOLID, though, and gave me a little hope for this album, which he put out with his old backing band, the Innocent Criminals. But man, after listening to this one, I just can't see myself spending the cabbage on Ben Harper albums any more. Hoping his set at Forecastle this July is still solid.
