Not to be redundant, Conner is better than last year, more athletic and noticeably stronger IMO, however they are in for a long night of Dillon Powell and company. Pioneers win by three scores, SK is playing very well.

Get ready for one of these

Calpreps.com projects this game as Simon Kenton 56 Conner 14

I don't think it will be quite that bad, but not far off.

Powell will have his way with this team and most teams, most impressive rb in the area along with Cordell-Armstrong from Cooper!

I have seen SK play 3 times now from last season to this, Folks they are legit 6A contenders. In all facet of the game. Passing, running, receiving and the defense is stout. They owned Station last weekend.

Thank you Northerner.

I agree that they are definitely the real deal. I wouldn't however go as far as saying they owned Bryant Station last week. it was a 3 point game with just over 2 mins left in the game.

Fair enough, but from my aspect. A team that supposed to have Olympic type speed, SK sure bottle them up.

Agree 100%

SK is a scary team to face. The score last week doesn't surprise me, what did surprise me was how close it was near the end.

I would love to see SK play a SC or a Male etc during the regular season sometime just to see how scary they can be. I've had SK ranked #1 in NKY all season and they haven't done anything yet to prove me wrong. They are solid in all aspects of offense.

Station stopped a driving SK on 4th down then they scored and was down 3. SK scored soon as they got the ball. Then intercepted the a Bryan Station pass to score again. SK controlled the entire game. Any time Station got close SK scored at will. It was a pretty exciting game. I would love to watch it again.

What are the #'s for SK's qb so far? And is he talking any coaches on the next level?

21/35 233 yards 1 TD

28 carries 208 yards 2 TDs

No offers yet as far as I know.

SK, cream of the crop right now in NKY in my opinion.

I dont post much on hear, but i read everyday! I will say that Simon Kenton looks impressive this early in the season....i have concerns though. Powell has 61 carries in 2 games...that is alot for one player in todays game. I think he was injured for part of the season last year if I remember correctly(i'm sure #1ukfan will corerct me if i am wrong) so you have to be concerned about durability. Also I wouldn't say the defense is stout with giving up close to 30 a game. Coach Marksberry has a program rolling but there are a couple of games I plan on seeing. Cooper and Ryle will give the Pioneers good test before they get to travel to Bowling Green, oh yes I think Highlands in on their schedule also this year. Its a long season! Good luck and stay healthy!
