None of their fans are pounding their chests at the moment and even in that situation let's look at their individual cases:

 

Male: Multiple recent wins against Trinity including a considerable history of victories against the Rocks and many state titles of their own.

 

Scott County: 2013 state champs with a victory at Male against the same Male team who had handed Trinity and St. X 2 defeats that season each. Furthermore they came closer to beating the 2012 Trinity squad than just about any other KY team (whih given the talent that squad had is a considerable accomplishment).

 

Ryle: No titles and no wins against Trinity but their first game in 99 at Trinity did go to OT and they have managed to score on Trinity so there's that.

 

Either way we detract from the main point of the thread and for that I apologize.

 

SK is seeming to be impressive offensively this season, which is good, however giving up as much as they have a game is somewhat unsettling for a potential title contender. They can pass and run, which is something that many big schools in NKY cannot do, but if they can't stop anyone will they be able to outrun everyone? That is a risky gamble. We'll see as the season goes on.

We will have a basis for comparison this week. Cooper plays Bryan Station and CAL plays DeSales. Giving up 5 scores, 1 defensive, to Station is not an embarrasment. They will score that much or more on the majority of thier opponents.We shall see how competitive CAL is against DeSales. I said in another thread that DeSales would be favored over 3/4 of 6A. They then went out and proved my point.

This is what always happens. He boasts, other programs come back at him, other SK fans get feelings hurt about the comebacks to their favorite fan and then it all goes downhill from there. Other (probably normal good SK fans) get drug in by their own because of what is said in response to him. It goes round and round.

Really? You may need to look at your #1 cheerleader, not the Other schools fans. He has slammed

every team ever since he became a member. If you don't believe me just look back a week at any NKY 6A teams prediction threads.

 

You won't get any sympathy as long as you continue to allow your little buddy to run his mouth and be the spokesperson for the program and if you don't think he is the spokesperson. Then you may want to quiet him

down yourself. He is the sole reason people enjoy watching SK get knocked out of the playoffs early each year and that is sad but true. People may say they don't want SK to lose in here, but in reality away from BGP I couldn't tell you how many fans from all different schools when I see them in a Fri nite ask for the SK score hoping they are losing. You owe all that to your spokesperson. When he shows no class it runs downhill to the team whether the folks and coaches at SK want to admit it or not.

New to this forum and have noticed that there is alot of SK football banter. Is it because of UK#1? To me if an award were given out for regular season every year SK would be at the top because they can schedule their opponent. Unfortunately when the playoffs start they actually have to play a good team, thus early exit each and every year.

worried about is will they run him into the ground? I mean for a player that has been hurt the last 2 years, getting 40 carries last game is a little extreme. If they keep that up he may not make it to district games.
