Barnes also had a pick 6 in the first quarter that was called back for roughing the passer. Then he had about a 50 yard to run in the third that was also called back for a block in the back. He's a legit play maker on both sides of the ball.

Barnes had another pick 6 called back by a roughing the passer. Barnes also had a very long TD run called back for a personal foul away from the play. HC defense is much better this year, but there is always room for improvement.

Walton Verona fans, you have now lost to Lloyd and to Holy Cross. How do you compare those two teams and who would you expect to win in that game?

WV graduated a quite a few of their starters last year. I'd wager to guess it was well over half of their starting offense and defense both. Among others, Mason Compton (linebacker) graduated is playing at Thomas More this year, Justin Kline (quarterback) graduated, and Will Latimore (fullback) graduated. They were all three really key players for the Bearcats.

Thanks! From my take on what I have seen from Walton is that they are a very classy group, hope they improve as we progress!

Holy Cross I would take.
