I knew Knox was a good team after watching the game last week. 6a is tough this year.

Im not surprised at all. Knox has had some great talent come through their feeder the last few years and just had to get it all together. Central I think is in for a slow decline from what they have been, talent is going other places in JCPS.

Very surprised by this. I saw 21-7 in the update thread and stopped refreshing, because I figured Central was a sure thing at that point. Hats off to Knox.

Knox Central has a wealth of very young talent attempting to grow up and develop against a brutal schedule. No result, be it a blowout loss or an upset win will surprise me until the coaching staff completes the process of blending in the best newcomers with the more experienced starters and everyone learns their roles. I will say that the heart shown in coming from behind last night leads me to believe this team will be ready by district time regardless of how the pre-district schedule plays out.
