It appears that if this is the same thing that was planned for Mason County, someone is serious about doing it, it appears that they may be having a hard time finding the right location. Not enough lodging down there for anything like that, pretty hilly terrain too. It would be nice to have something like Kings Island in the tristate area though. I have serious doubts whatever this project is ever happens, but I hope it does. Sounds like it would be huge for Lawrence County and the surrounding areas.

Wife used to go to Camden Park back in the day.
August 25, 201511 yr Wife used to go to Camden Park back in the day. Yeah, its nice for young kids, but its nothing like Kings Island lol. There were actually talks of building a large amusement park on some land Larry Addington owned out in Boyd County years ago. Then there were talks of building a large racetrack on the same land, which I believe ultimately became Kentucky Speedway, at a different location. If I remember correctly lodging was the main concern with both of those ideas also.
