Was surprised with the score, not that DeSales won just the margin, but after reading that Faridale was missing Starting QB Garcia, starting RB Cole, as well as a few others it explains it. Though the Bulldogs would give them a better game, but with a depleted roster guess they couldn't

From what I understand, Fairdale's defense was unaffected by the suspensions. Desales' big question mark is on offense. I was surprised how easily the Colts moved the ball on them.

Well one of those is easily avoidable. So you can't really put that out there as an excuse.

2A may well be the most interesting and best class of the six. There seems to be a great number of quality teams. Will 2 or 3 of them distance themselves from the pack over the course of the season?

DeSales scored on every possession in the first half, and the opening possession of the second. At that point the reserves came in. The team looked very sharp. That defense was great and will keep getting better.

It could have been a more competitive game but Fairdale had too many kids out of the game either disciplined or hurt. Coach Wright (Fairdale) cares more about the kids than wins. I still think DeSales would have won.

Yes, the defense was affected by the suspensions/injuries. Again I still think DeSales would have won.
