Getting Ugly At Baylor

A kid that was at Boise was kicked off of the team for beating up his girlfriend. He was never convicted. Known to have anger issues.

 

Baylor takes him in. Before he plays for them he sexually assaults a freshman soccer player. Kicked off of the team. Baylor coach Briles and school president are catching a lot of heat for bringing in such a player.

 

Briles told the media today that he was unaware of the issues surrounding the player's transfer so....his hands are clean.

 

However, Coach Peterson issues a statement today that said Peterson called Briles to tell him exactly what the issues were.

 

Briles is not going to come out looking good on this one.

Not only did Briles say he wasn't aware, he said he called Peterson before taking the kid on and he never told him about the issues. Someone here is lying. My bet is it's Briles.

Maybe it was. Bottom line Briles is claiming the call took place and he wasn't made aware. Peterson said he was.

While that is interesting that I was checked that way, the accusations here are over the phone call as both coaches have said that took place despite the differing stories.
