Funny coach i called that number and it was Coach Foley's house.

:sssh:

If they hire Parsons as the boys coach, that would be a BIG mistake. He hasn't proven himslef anywhere he has been (at least in the last 10 years).

Isn't he the same guy that was at Menifee Co. a couple of years ago? If so, he has LOTS of "baggage" tagged along with him........ :creepy:

The same guy it is

Coach I don't know anything about you so can I call and talk with you?

sounds like you are just as interested in the coach your kid will have, just as I am sure the parents, you said were interfering wanted. We all just want the best for our kids. I hope you are able to have some input into the coaching selection.

Foley does not live in the 606 area code. You know that.

Has this position been filled? I may have missed the announcement.

My sons will be a senior and isn't a very talented basketball player. Will be going to play college football. Anyone who knows me knows I wants best for all kids. The two guys I think they should go get is Joey Thacker or Mathew Yates.

The job is still open. As of right now only have a couple of applicants. School ended Friday look for the to start interviewing soon.

So what is the latest. Getting late in the year, will someone get it in default or do they have time to hire a legit person. Any names going?????

If parents would support coaches and their programs instead complaining about their child's playing time and blaming coaches for every loss, high school athletics would be better off. I guess it is simply a reflection of the individualistic selfish society we live in.

I missed this post when this thread was more active.

You said it best "Fan"! It is truly a shame when parents are trying to live vicariously through their children and don't know when to keep their nose and opinions to themselves!

they key would be getting jordan morgan out. Best basketball player in the school.

Coach you strike a good point, Morgan is a talented ball player but does not know his limits on his attitude. He is a quitter, he quit his 8th grade year at Second Street and his Soph. year at High

So what makes coaches believe that he wont quit again?

Frankfort High is looking fairly decent in there lower grades, Metcalf puts up big numbers along with Daniel Jones for the Panthers, Both boys are Freshman.

In Districts FHS Freshman were hanging in there close with a very talented Franklin Co. who ended up taking Districts in a close game against Western Hills.

So back on topic, I have to agree that Morgan is a talented ball player but his attitude needs rearaging.

The kid has quit football. So he must not be a quitter. I think the last coach wasn't out to make every kid better. Jordan felt like he wasn't getting an chase to prove himself.

Very well put:thumb:

Juan Byars moves from assistant coach at Bourbon County to head coach at FHS.
