July 29, 201511 yr Author Dodgers still interested in Chapman? Possibly but they have a good closer in Kenley Jansen already.
July 29, 201511 yr The White Sox have some nice prospects. Tim Anderson, Courtney Hawkins, Micah Johnson, Jacob May, Trayce Thompson and Trey Michalczewski are all very nice position player prospects. Hawkins has yet to figure it out much like Bubba Sterling but I'd love to acquire him. All of these guys are very to toolsy players.
July 29, 201511 yr Not sure I'd trade Leake or Chapman for Puig. I'd like to have Storen and Pederson though. You wouldn't trade Leake (who will likely walk at the end of the season) for Puig, a headcase but potential superstar who will "only" make $7.5 in 2018 and hit free agency in 2019?
July 29, 201511 yr According to Tim Kurkijan the Reds won't trade Chapman unless they get a Cueto like haul. As a Reds fan I wouldn't expect anything less. He might be a closer but he's also a superstar and not just a pure rental with another year of control. Got to at least get a top 100 position player and 1 or 2 other rising prospects.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. The Reds have a history with Cuban players not that it matters but still. Also maybe the move from LA to a small market like Cincy would suite him well. Even with the attitude give him to me, seeing him play at GABP in a Reds uniform would be a dream come true. He'd be the Reds biggest pickup since bringing JR home.
