Knights went undefeated in non-tournament play then lost to Ryle in the winner's bracket final. They then dropped down and knocked Highlands out in the losers bracket and came back to beat Ryle in the final.

 

 

I agree with you Lex about JJ Ogbogu being an All-State WR. I don't know if he'll actually end up on the list because 75% of that is politics but he has that kind of talent.

Did LexCath hold an assembly back at the school after the games today? What I saw today was a "joke" I guess it is a great feat to win a 7 on 7 tourney. Heard LexCath players were jawing in 7 on 7 with a team that they cannot defeat when "real" football is being played. Come on coach.

The way that they carried on today should be an embarrassment to the staff and team. I am all for having fun and whooping it up, but cheering in the stands, taking a knee in the final minute and then arguing because the clock stopped, deliberately delaying making a play call and so on and so on. Enjoy the 7 on 7 win because we all know what has happened the last 4 years when the pads are on and it becomes big boy football and not backyard football.
