My prediction is HC over Lloyd.

Dorning MVP, Chalfant, Wolfe, O'Donnel all tourner team.

Holy Cross is a very fundamentally sound team with the best player Dorning in the region. Trouble for Lloyd is they'll most likely face Holy Cross in the second round and will have to come out of the losers bracket. I'm guessing Scott will be in the finals with Holy Cross and the Indians will repeat as state champions.

Looking at the teams, it is interesting that 4 of the 6 teams that have an exclusive fast pitch team made the state tournament. While the fact that they are larger schools is also a contributor, I find it interesting.

I like Lloyd to come out of the Loser's bracket over Scott.

Scott has built themselves up from the bottom. They are young and definitely the team to beat next year.

The fact the KHSAA still sponsors a team championship in slow pitch is a joke...

Are there just 4 slow softball regions in the state??? Most of the teams listed above are from Northern Kentucky.

Heck, they could play beer league now if that's all they want to do...NKY really needs to get with the times and let this "sport" pass the way of the dodo bird.

C'mon, Jim and herd... stop beating around the bush and tell us how you really feel about the KHSAA sanctioning a "state championship" in beer , er..., I mean, slow-pitch softball.
