Blame the administration and hire an assistant as an interim, then hire one next year or remove the interim title

 

Why? I don't know who was on staff you don't just hire an assistant just to hire an assistant especially if there was not an assistant on staff that would make sense to make the coach. That wouldn't be fair to the kids or seniors especially. An administration should put the kids best interest first and I'd there was an assistant that made sense to do that then fine, or if bringing in a new guy even this late makes more sense then you do that. You don't just settle and give it to an assistant unless there is an assistant wothy be in in control even if just for a year.

I don't think this is a good hire at all. But I also hope he proves me wrong.

 

I'm just interested to here why you think this? I don't know much about him either besides where he has been, but the experience is nice. Whom do you think they should have got.

I know Tim Viox. He's dedicated, hard-working and smart. Hopefully, he'll have enough time to get organized, get to know the kids/their skills, and be ready for the first game.
