Cooks lawyer claims the report is bogus.

His request for a speedy trial was granted and his fate should be known before the start of the season.

Set for August 24th.

 

From my reading, it appears that there are two schools of thought on the request for a speedy trial. It's either because:

 

A: They're very confident in their case enough to say let's just get this over with.

 

or

 

B: They want to move it up and hopefully box the prosecution out by not giving them enough time to develop a proper case.

When they stop winning 10 games a year.

 

Maybe even 11 if things keep going the way they are. It's certainly hard to fire a coach that wins that many games.

Word is FSU coach Jimbo Fisher met with his team earlier today. Laid down the law; bars off limits to players.

 

Like the bars are the problem. SMH

 

It's certainly a start. Lots of shady stuff at bars. Don't go looking for problems because sooner or later they'll find you regardless.

He was found not guilty.

It's a no win situation for him really. Either found guilty or I'm sure now that he's been found not guilty people are losing their minds saying the fix was in.
