Why is that. I hear a couple of the senior players are no longer playing as well.

Senior team is 3-1. Midget Youth team is 3-0. Both are playing great football.

The usual for South Kenton, unfortunately. Keep your heads up parents, middle school is only a few more years away.

Just curious. Didn't South Kenton play the Union Raiders last week @ Ryle. What was the result of those games?? Did you skip those or just forgot to report?

Some of thoughs games where canceled because of the heat 2 weeks ago. They made some up this past 2 Tuesday i know my son plays them this Tuesday. My sons midget youth team is 4-0 they play the Bandits who are 5-0.

But what about the real midget and junior games. Didn't the Raiders just win both last Tuesday?

I know my sons team won tonight against Union Raiders.

Red Devils won the Junior Youth game, Spartans won the Junior game.

What % of NKYFL players skip their teams Youth/Senior level and go over to the middle schools for their 6th grade seasons?

What % of NKYFL players skip their teams Youth/Senior level and go over to the middle schools for their 6th grade seasons?

 

I'd love to know this also though I'd imagine it would be difficult to put a percentage on this. I know the first few years the middle school programs were put in place our numbers were low with the Spartans. They have not put a Senior team on the field in 4 or 5 years. Junior and Midget numbers are recovering. Slow but steady increase in numbers the past 3 years on average. Recently there seems to be a spike in the number of 6th and 7th graders that are first timers on the football field.

Sorry, I don't keep up with youth much anymore. What are the ages/grades for midget, midget youth, junior,etc...?
