July 9, 201511 yr We are looking at maybe another two weeks of above average rain. Both the 6-10 and 8-14 day outlook are showing above average precipitation. I'm watching Monday into Tuesday for the possibility of severe storms or at the very least very heavy rain. 6-10 day Precipitation outlook 8-14 day Precipitation outlook The hazards outlook for the Monday and Tuesday next week.

July 9, 201511 yr Hard to believe two weeks ago, the grass was yellow here. It seems as though some areas around here are above normal for the month, but right down the road they may be below normal. Lots of discrepancies county to county.

How. many days since June 1 have had rain vs zero rain? Actually June 2015 only ranks 25th out of 121 for total rain fall. The rainiest June was in 1928 with 11.67 inches of rain. This past June we only saw 5.20 inches. Northern and Southern Kentucky had a maximum of 3-5 consecutive days with no rain for the past 30 days. Central, Southern and parts of western and eastern Kentucky had a maximum of 6-8 days of consecutive days with no precipitation.
July 9, 201511 yr There has been very few all sunny days in a long time. Rain on avg 5 days a week for the last Couple weeks. Im thinking we won't see a change until august. May not be breaking records but this is a crazy amount of cloudy/rainy days.
