July 2, 201511 yr Not sure where you get your numbers from, but on the NCAA website. IU is 1000 for three consecutive years. Last year IU was 1000, Michigan was 995, and Wisconsin was 985 tied with a couple of other schools. I'm talking about Graduation Rates not APR... Division I Graduation Success Rates Search | NCAA.org - The Official Site of the NCAA In addition to developing the APR, the presidents also adopted a new graduation rate methodology that more accurately reflects student-athlete transfer patterns and other factors affecting graduation (the new rate is called the Graduation Success Rate).
July 2, 201511 yr Hate to see him go, easily a Top 5 coach in the game. Coach K, Cal, Pitino, Self, Izzo, Ol' Roy, Boeheim, Huggy Bear and a few others say...
July 3, 201511 yr Coach K, Cal, Pitino, Self, Izzo, Ol' Roy, Boeheim, Huggy Bear and a few others say... Outside of Pitino, Izzo, Coach K, and Self, no on could win more with what Ryan has. Cal............no.
July 3, 201511 yr Outside of Pitino, Izzo, Coach K, and Self, no on could win more with what Ryan has. Cal............no. Bo Ryan completely overrated...close to half of his wins were in DIII I think...Bo Ryan is a good Coach very comparable to Tubby Smith...but he's not a top 5 coach.

July 3, 201511 yr But he did whip Cal and all those NBA draft picks....just sayin'. Sun shines every dogs butt every once in a while...I'm not saying he's a bad coach...I'm just saying he's not top 5 as was originally stated.
July 3, 201511 yr Outside of Pitino, Izzo, Coach K, and Self, no on could win more with what Ryan has. Cal............no. Who made the HOF this year between Cal and Ryan?
July 4, 201511 yr Who made the HOF this year between Cal and Ryan? Who got their award at halftime of the National Championship game while the other guy was coaching the Badgers in the title tilt.
July 4, 201511 yr Who got their award at halftime of the National Championship game while the other guy was coaching the Badgers in the title tilt. Do we really want to compare the following: Number of Championships - Calpari 1-0. Number of Championship Games - Calipari 4-1 Number of Final Fours - Calipari 6-2 Number of Elite Eights - Calipari 10-3 Number of Sweet Sixteens - Calipari 12-6 Go ahead and remove his vacated numbers and its still quite a bit better. Bo Ryan is definitely a good coach, but on John Calipari, Tom Izzo, Coach K's level, he is not.

Coach Cal is a great assembler of talent, a great salesmen, and a manager of talent.....all things that make a great coach. X and o wise? He ain't on the level of the guys mentioned.......any of them.
