June 25, 201511 yr Author I"m going ahead and go into an Severe Weather Alert Mode. I just checked the most recent info from the Storm Prediction Center. The potential is there for the storms to redevelop this afternoon. We could be looking at multicell and supercell severe thunderstorms. The main threats look to be damaging winds and large hail. I also wouldn't rule out a short lived tornado or two. The NWS-Louisville office has put out a notice to all spotters that spotter activation will likely be needed this afternoon into this evening. I was pretty sure on the timing of the storms this morning. I posted my thoughts were from 4-9 pm EDT. I may have to extended that until around midnight. The latest thunderstorm outlook is showing us with the possibility of storms from 4 pm to midnight. I'll post an update as soon as I get any new information. Everyone should stay weather aware this afternoon into the nighttime hours.
