MLB Trivia....2015 Edition

More hints: only made 1 other all star game and that was with a different team in 1995. Not for sure is he is active but was a MLB hitting coach if not still.

I had to look it up. I wouldn't have ever guessed him.

Me either. Although I question the validity of it as he came up as a rookie as a 1st baseman. Not until later in the year did he move to 3B.

Nevermind, he played the majority of games at 3B that season.

Last night's Scoreboard Stumper:

4 players have collected 150 or more HRs, 150 or more SBs and 1500 or more hits while playing for the Reds. Who are they?

Vada Pinson, Barry Larkin, Brandon Philips and Frank Robinson, unless Pete Rose got enough steals.

Who is currently leading the majors in pinch hits for the season?

Skip Schumaker.

Very good, I'd have bet he didn't have 13 hits all year period. Haha

NM, he's not even close.

AVG got it right. Pinson, Larkin, Phillips & Robinson are correct.

I would probably have picked Rose if you hadn't said it was a Scoreboard Stumper. They usually have something to do with the opponent that night or a player in the game. Pinson, Larkin and Robinson I was solid on.

4 players have hit a MLB HR before age 20 and also one at 40 or older.\

Clues:

One was before 1940.

One was a player from the 70s.

One from 80s/90s
