Since 2008 the pitcher who threw the most pitches that were swung at and missed is Clayton Kershaw. What surprised me was the number. 30. Not sure why I thought that would be higher.
July 21, 201511 yr Was Braun an All-Star his rookie year? I know he played 3B that season. He wasn't the answer Marty gave so I assume not an all star 3B.

You're obviously talking about the record for one game since 2008 correct?
July 21, 201511 yr Oops. Matt Williams? Gary Sheffield? Maybe Williams. Sheffield was a shortstop when he broke in.
July 22, 201511 yr More hints: only made 1 other all star game and that was with a different team in 1995. Not for sure is he is active but was a MLB hitting coach if not still.
