Let the fun begin! Summer ball is a great time for the coaches to push kids to do things they aren't comfortable doing. Hopefully they all improve and get closer to reaching their potential as a player.

 

Sacred Heart is playing in many different areas of Kentucky. Should be a fun month for the Valkyries.

Summer camps were the most enjoyable. The coaches sat back and let the kids do their own thing a bit more. Plus, they would get in multiple games in a day, so everyone played and it was a relaxed atmosphere. Probably the way it should be all the time.

 

I miss those days.

On Saturday they play Male and a team to be named later. Next week they head to Elizabethtown to play the Panthers and anither team.

That's the first two weeks for the Valkyries, which shows they are playing some of the top teams.

Looks like only one Freshman is playing on varsity this summer.

Mason defeated Notre Dame twice and a team from Moscow, Ohio last night at Notre Dame. Play Clark and Sacred Heart on Thursday at Clark County.

Should be a good matchup with SHA. SHA defeated a fine Mercer County team and Casey County yesterday.

Campbell Co. scrimmaged Notre Dame twice & Walton-Verona three times tonight and won all five times.
