Usually there is a direct correlation between how worried you are about an opponent and comments made about said opponent.

Worried? Never worried! Do some research of those Conner/SK threads a few years ago buddy.

Means a lot if the Dline is pushing you around. Big difference when you have kids over 240 pounds going up against 200 pound kids.

As he said, it depends on the offense. I've seen a lot of big kids with their hands on their knees huffing and puffing in the 4th qtr watching the offense run right past them.

I guess we will see how good their Oline is Friday night against Bryan Station? Station has some big boys.

You and your size comments....maybe you should watch the Woodford Co Cooper game. Those kids were huge, but by third qtr they were standing around, hands on hips and exhausted by those "little" players that we have. As it has been stated and the quote goes, it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. But keep on knocking kids for their size, or whatever makes you feel better about yourself

I recall when Highlands played Cincy St. X a few years ago they had a lineman(I think Matt James(RIP)) who had signed with Notre Dame. He was wore out from chasing the little Highlands D-Lineman. I tried to find the picture that showed the size differential, it was significant.

That's it. 53 wore 78 out that night.

One of the best high school games I've ever seen.

Why are you so hung up on how tall a kid is and how much he weighs? Means very little to nothing in the high school game if you cannot move. Especially in todays day and age, smaller more agile lineman are the way to go with the type offenses that are being run.

We've been telling him that for years. One of Cooper's best d-linemen in 2012 weighed 180 soaking wet and played DE and another played NT who was no where near college size NT. size means very little unless you are a DI prospect. Cooper has always had among smallest lines in the area.
