I've seen on social media and on TV how some who supported the rioting are saying these bikers weren't treated as rough or criticized like the rioters. Even though all the evidence points this not to be true. Please someone explain. I've seen people in this thread hint toward it.

All that I said is that there wasn't as big of an outrage about this, because there hasn't been. There's no denying that point. The only thing to argue would be why there wasn't as much coverage (and people caring) about this incident.
May 20, 201511 yr Deuce, I think the reason there hasn't been the "Outrage" your talking about is because unlike the riots in Ferguson or Baltimore...nearly every suspect was arrested, business owners didn't have their businesses looted and destroyed, there wasn't a pre-rumble cry of "No Justice, No Peace" or "Burn this mother down" and no one in the media or pretty much anywhere has a sympathetic view of the plight of Outlaw Bikers. In Ferguson and a lesser degree Baltimore there was also an outrage about police tactics being too forceful, in Waco some think the police were too restrained. Comparing this to those earlier events is like comparing apples and anvils.

How often does the national media camp out and show live coverage of gang violence. Show me the last major news story surronding Bloods and Crips fighting. This story was covered by every National news outlet . I mean everyone. They were still covering it on CNN last night. Do you want the media to send people on the ground? There was no on going story. Biker gangs normally don't protest in the streets for days on end. These two stories can't be compared and anyone trying to compare them are just trying to spark controversy when there wasn't any.

However, I'm still somewhat confused. As long as I've been alive, that has only ever been called a gang's "colors." Why the need for the new term?

Why the need for the new term? In biker circles, it's always been known as a "cut". Colors seems to be more related to street gangs as far as I know.

Well that was crappy shooting if that was the plan, they only killed 9. You'd think if you rounded them up to kill them you could hit more than 9 of them. #NeedRangeTime
