Blatt should be fired for the simple fact that he tried to have LeBron take the ball out on the final play. Moron.

You cannot let Blatt return, no way. It just doesn't work.

I am not saying it would have been the correct call, but in fairness to the situation, LeBron had been stinking up the joint and was 9-29 from the field. I could have seen a play being run for J.R. Smith and LeBron is their best passer.

But yes, your star gets the ball in that situation or at least is involved in the action.

Maybe Blatt thought the Bulls would absolutely freak out if LeBron took the ball out of bounds. They would have no idea what was going on.

It will be interesting who the Cavs bring in next year. Assuming it is not going to be Coach Cal who would be the favorite?

+Larry Bird

I loved the story when K.C. Jones was drawing up a last second play for the Celts in the 80's and had someone else taking the shot. Bird threw the clip board down and said "throw me the damn ball and we are going home".

Obviously, he made the shot and they went home or it would not be a good story:)

Exactly, you know Kobe and MJ overrode the coach every night...and Phil is thought to be in the discussion of GOAT Coach.

False. Their coaches weren't stupid enough to call game winning plays for other people.

How about the guy roaming the sidelines for the Bulls?

Blatt - OK, here is the play guys.

JR Smith - You sure coach?

Lebron - Scrap that and give me the ball.

All while in the huddle, allegedly...

After the injuries and how well they played at the end of the season I still don't see him getting fired.

If they don't win this series I could see him being let go.

But let's be honest. Blatt and anyone else that takes that job knows that LeBron is the head coach and GM of the team. If Blatt ever were to be terminated, I wonder if the Cavs would take the taboo plunge and name him head coach.

Keep in mind they hired Blatt before they knew they were getting Lebron back. I bet they hire a different coach had they known they were getting Lebron.

I think Blatt is gone unless they win the championship and I don't see them winning the championship sooooooooo

#hegone

They should go after Thibs.

Thibs combined with LeBron wouldn't be fair IMO.
