Now back to football Lloyd is about a year away the Jr class is loaded

Soph class is good. Freshman class is the best 30 on the roster they have speed and size.Won Middle school championship 4 out last five years.

John Williams did very well in the Boone County Leauge and has speed and skill. He will be fun to watch for the next couple of years. As of this season I do like Lunsford . Good athlete.

If his body pans out JWill has a bright future ahead of him on the field. I've never seen an oz of fat on him, hope he continues to grow and get stronger.

Trayvon Mason & John both have very bright future together.

This is just our experience with the schools there. The course offerings when we left Erlanger/Elsmere in no way, shape or form matched the high school we chose. You could ONLY take two years of foreign language and ONLY Spanish. My son could choose four years of five different languages. The Honors courses were minimal, and AP/IB offerings almost non-existent. My boys will enter college as sophomores - serious $$$ savings. Tichenor had us on the verge of home-schooling, no discipline at all and I've never seen more teacher apathy and flat out burn out. The solution? Uniforms?? Really?? The teen pregnancy rate was frightening, most of whom I know personally were expecting in or before their Junior year. I see they built a daycare onto Lloyd, is that for teachers and staff?

 

Every site I look at has Lloyd rated below all three Kenton Co. schools in average standard scores and overall rank. Dixie was 46, Simon Kenton 55 and Scott 108 (up 96 spots from the year prior). Lloyd was ranked 121 (down 20 spots from the year before). Those numbers are from schooldigger.com but I checked four sites.

 

I have no ill-will for Lloyd. Love a lot of the families and students there. Wish them a successful season. I'm just saying a lot of talent left the area for greener pastures, but you know what they say about the grass on the other side.

Is the Lloyd daycare as nice as the daycare Kenton County opened in the old board of education building in front of Simon Kenton?

The DayCare at Lloyd is a community day care center. Lloyd had some extra space with the new addition and it was a way for the school system to make some $$ by renting out the space. Serves a community need and brings some $$ into the school system.

They're all on the same team though. None of the guys you just listed are. They are good but Townsend, Durham, and Gaines on one team? I think your comment's the more "laughable" one.

Also Lunsford, Runion, Hatton, and some new additions to the receiving core.

Really LMHS is 3 and 1 and as for the kids at LMHS they are great kids the same kids your boys learned how to play football with.
