April 10, 201511 yr How great was it to see Jack's Hole in One in the Par 3 contest? 75 years old. I thought that was sweet! Go Rory!!!
April 10, 201511 yr Author Hard not to go chalk. Bubba has won 2 of the last 3. Spieth is the hottest player on tour right now. I said at the beginning of the year that Jason Day would have a breakout year. Spieth is first at -8; Day is T2 at -5, and Bubba is T18 at -1. So far, so good.
April 11, 201511 yr Author Dustin Johnson had a Masters first yesterday. 3 eagles in one round. Player the four par-5s in 7 under.
April 11, 201511 yr It's Speiths to lose after an incredible two rounds. Watching a great show on CBS about Augustas history and the golfers who helped shape its success as the Masters... Nelson, Snead, Player, Palmer....really good stuff!
April 13, 201511 yr 21-year-old Jordan Spieth wins the Masters, finishing 18 strokes under par, four ahead of Phil Mickelson and Justin Rose.
April 13, 201511 yr Jordan Spieth made history at Augusta National on Sunday, becoming just the fifth player to complete a wire-to-wire victory to claim the green jacket. The victory is a huge career accomplishment for the 21-year-old as he now joins the ranks of major championship winners. Spieth was rewarded with the green jacket for his effort, but will also take home the largest payout in Masters history as he won $1.8 million of the $10 million purse, according to the Augusta Chronicle.

April 13, 201511 yr Author Am I correct that caddies generally make 10%? As a rule, but I think it's up to the player. And 18% of the purse going to the winner is standard.
April 13, 201511 yr Was anyone else looking for the open mouth clowns and Windmills yesterday? Course was very easy IMO and there were several great scores. I guess they wanted to see someone catch Spieth so the pin placements stayed virtually the same for each day.

I guess they wanted to see someone catch Spieth so the pin placements stayed virtually the same for each day. Yeah, I wasn't a big fan. Augusta normally prides itself on being a challenge and not turning in to the John Deere Classic. I always understood it that they set up the pins to make plays on Sunday because they like the roars of the crowd.
April 13, 201511 yr Author Agree with both of the above posts. Winning score in 2008 was -8, I believe. Makes me wonder if they didn't set it up for Phil or Rory.
